Senior Product Designer
Most systems hold the answer. Few surface it in time.
Enterprise knowledge, security operations, AI-assisted media: three domains where the wrong interface costs real time and real trust. I design for the moment someone needs the answer, and make the system say plainly what it does not yet know. Lately I build what I specify too, so what ships is proof, not a promise.
Six systems, one standard
Six systems. The moment each one has to work.
The stakes change. The obligation does not: make the important thing visible, keep control with the person, and state the limits honestly.
Selected work
Six systems, and the moment each one has to work.
An employee who knows the answer exists somewhere. An operator deciding what matters right now. A photographer trusting what the AI just changed.

About
I design products in domains where the cost of confusion is real: enterprise knowledge, security operations, AI-assisted workflows. The job is the same across all three: take a system nobody can act inside with confidence, and make it legible enough that they can.
That has meant enterprise information architecture at Blue Cross Blue Shield, data visualization for security operators at AT&T, and most recently building as well as designing. Constraints you have to implement yourself are the ones you take seriously.
I work from evidence. Nothing on this site claims an outcome it cannot support, and where a product direction is unfinished, it says so.

Where the work has been
Practice
What I am useful for.
Four things I do well, proven by the work above rather than a list of services.
-
01
Zero to one product direction
Framing the blurry problem, deciding what the first honest version is, and saying out loud what it will not do yet.
-
02
Complex and enterprise interfaces
Dense, high-stakes tools. Security consoles, knowledge systems, operational workflows made legible enough to act inside.
-
03
AI product design and disclosure
Designing trust and control into AI features, including the harder half: making it clear what the model changed and why that matters.
-
04
Design systems, and building them
Systems that survive contact with a real codebase, because recently I have had to implement the constraints I wrote.

Looking for a team building something genuinely difficult. I also take on select project work, which is how the LAB913 products above get built.
